1. the AP1 bus is in operation until to late night, so you could take it once arrive at the airport. The bus fare is MOP5 and takes you within one hour to reach Gongbei border.
2. Currently, there are five coaches departing from Gongbei Bus Station to Shantou, respectively at 07:40, 08:30, 09:30, 12:50 and 16:35. The journey will take you about 5 hours and about CNY135.

I like to check is there a direct coach from Gongbei Bus Station to Chaozhou?

Seems there is no direct coach from Gongbei to Chaozhou. But at the Xiangzhou Bus Station of Zhuhai, there are express buses departing to Chaozhou everyday. From Gongbei,you could take a cab to reach Xiangzhou Bus Station easily.
