About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I intending travelling to China in late August/early September for a period of 3 weeks.
I believe a single entry visa is valid for 3 months.
Is this period for entry to China or must I exit before the 3 months has expired?
Regards,
Paul.

3 months is the validity for you to enter China rather than you have to exit Shanghai within the 3 months.
