About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I am a US citizen studying abroud in Seoul and planned a trip to China with my chinese friend on the way home after semester ends. Unfortunately my friend just alerted me that I need a visa to enter China! We are leaving June 20th to go to China, do I have enough time to get the visa? I will only stay one week in China so which visa do I need? Also could you recommend a travel agency I can get the visa from? I noticed online it said I cannot apply for one through the China Consulate :( any help would be very appreciated, this is my first time in Seoul and to China so I'm not so great with planning everything well.

Ms.Kristen, yes, you have the enough time to apply for China visa, you can apply for tourist visa (L visa) to China, it takes 4 working days, you can download the visa application form from this website https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/pdf/visa-application.pdf the list of travel agencies designated by consular office of China Embassy in Seoul is written in Korea, I can't read Korea, so I can't recommend one travel agency, you can call it, I guess that there are staff who can speak English.

Thank you very much for your quick reply!!! I really appreciate the helpful link! I will ask my Korean friend to help me find the travel agencies on the list. I can read Korean, but I cannot speak it so I will find someone to help accompany me.
Thanks again,
Kristen
