Hi, have two questions:1) How early does one need to book train tickets from Shanghai to Hangzhou or Suzhou? Is it safe to assume one may purchase it for same-day travel at the station?2) Will I be able to store my luggage at any of the Shanghai train stations for several days at a time?? Will have large suitcases.Thank you!

The tickets for the trains departing from Shanghai are generally sold about 11 days before the train’s departure, and it is better for you to arrange the tickets in advance in case there are no tickets left when you buy. Besides, usually there is charging luggage storage service in the train stations. For the fee details, you can ask the staff at the train station.
