About:Dongguan Travel

I will be in Hong Kong, and I would like to make a day trip to Dongguan and visit the Opium War Memorial. What is the best way to get from Hong Kong to Dongguan? Should I go first to Guangzhou? How long will the travel take, and how much? Thanks

you can take a train from hongkong to shenzhen ,and from lou hu trainstation you can take a bus to Dongguan.from shenzhen 40 RMB. no need to go Guangzhou.
