The Macau immigration officer will ask aliens to provide different documents according to nationality, as I know, nationals of more than 66 countries do not need a visa to Macau, nationals of Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Vietnam should obtain the Macau visa first, other nationals can apply for visa on arrival. The hotel reservation is required under some situations.
