About:China Visa Application in USA

My partner and I both work on ships,he is hoping to join me in Asia when he finishes his contract on another ship, after several days at home (he is a Mexican national on a Mexican passport). Depending on how long it takes to obtain any visas that he needs. He intends to stay onboard for approx 29 days - the itinerary will be Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nagasaki, Pusan, Beijing, Shanghai Okinawa, Keelung, Hong Kong, Nha Trang, Phu My, Singapore,Laem Chabang, Phu My and disembarking in Singapore. What type of CHinese visa will he need and how long will it take to process - as he also needs a visa for Thailand and Taipei - he will either embark the ship in Hong Kong or Shanghai depending on his visas. Does the visa for China also cover Taipei or does he need a separate one for Taipei.

Ms.Donna, Mexico passport holders don't need a visa to Hong Kong for up to 90 days per entry, he need a double-entry China visa, because you enter China twice. The China visa doesn't cover taipei, he needs to apply for a seperate one for Taipei
