About:Xian Travel

Hi, I hope somebody can help. I haven't found an answer to my questions in the Q&A so far, so I will go ahead and ask:

1) Can I book a highspeed (G) train ticket from Xian to Luoyang in another city? I want to book the ticket in Beijing, before I arrive in Xian. Is this possible?

2) When do G-train tickets typically run out? Are they still easy to get 1 or 2 days before the departure? Does this change around the beginning of July (with students travelling)?

1. As I know that you have to purchse the train ticket in Xian or Luoyang.
2. it is suggest that you purchase the train ticket as early as possible. You're right that the tickets will be needed urgently due to students traveling in July.

You don't need book the ticket in beijing, because most of chinese don't go out by highspeed train,it's so expensive just like a airplane ticket. So i think you can book it when you get to xi'an.
most of students don't take highspeed train,so you don't need to care about it.
