About:China Customs Declaration

My wife and I are relocating to China. The $5,000 amount is that per person? How are you suppose to rent an apartment if you can only bring in $5,000.?

HK$5,000 is the maximum amount of cash that a passenger is allowed to carry. Note it is the cash!
