About:Xinjiang Travel

Hello there, I'm planning to make a trip to Xinjiang in August this year whereby Muslims will observe the Ramadhan (fasting month). I wonder if it's worth to make this trip as I'm afraid most of the attractions will be close or the people will be resting. Another concern is.....is it safe now to visit Xinjiang? How's the current political situation?
