Can I apply visa myself to visit my parent? Do I need to use agent? Thanks!

Ms.sun, if you want to apply for China visa in South Korea, you have to apply for visa through one of the travel agencies designated by the China embassy/consulate.
If you want to apply for China visa in Australia, you have to apply for visa through the Chinese Visa Application Service Center.0
