Had a wonderful trip to wenchang recently! Can we use Singapore driving license and tourist international driving license to rent a car and drive ourselves to sight see Hainan? Also, if we are visiting often, how to convert or get Hainan local driving license? Appreciate so much all the advise you have given every body!

Mr. Rong,I am sorry that you can't drive in mainland China if you just hold International driving license. China doesn't admit it. If you want to drive, you need to get a Chinese driver license. To get a Chinese driver license, you just need pass the theory exam. The documents you need to offer: passport, resident permit, international driver license and physical examination certificate.
