I am just planned to do a overland to china in my own car, via nepal..so i want full details about,.  1.carnet required?2.which all documents need translation certificate? And who will do it?3.any security deposits in border?how much?4.will i get temporary no. Plates from border?5.and details about insurance and other paper works?Please write full information about this..this is my life time dream to drive in your land..please.

Sir, I think it will need lots of documents for a foreigner to travel China by driving his own car, you'd better contact the China Embassy in your country to make everything clear.
