About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Is a Hotel Reservation Certificate mandatory for the whole trip? I will spend several nights on trains, have a return plane ticket but not booked any hotel yet.
Can I already apply for my China Tourist Visa?
And can I download the Application Form somewhere or do I have to fill it in at the consulate directly?

if you are not able to prvide the hotel reservation, your return air ticket will also work, please don't worry.
The visa application form can be download from the official website of the China Embassy or any travel website.
