Yes, many sports are very popular among Chinese people, such as tennis, table tennis, badminton, basketball and football. Besides, many people like swimming and jogging (if it can be regarded as sport activities).

In most cases, people play these sports for relaxation or for interest. Therefore, they will not get smacked when doing something wrong, except that the athletes play for a group, team or country.
