About:Luggage Porter

My initial plan is to go to Kunming, dali, Lijiang and shangrila. But I heard rumours that the only way to enter Dali, Lijiang and Shangrila is by joining a tour. The rumours also said that it is almost impossible for independent traveller to get in there. Is it true? pls confirm. Thank you

As far as I know, only traveling to Tibet requires to join a very expensive tour.Acutaly visiting some touristy area in Dali/Lijiang/Shangri-la is quite easy.
