About:Embassy & Consulates of Japan in China

Dear Embassy,

I live in the US and am only briefly visiting Japan. Will it be possible for me to obtain a tourist visa for China at the Chinese embassy in Tokyo?

Secondly if I pay the expedite fee and arrive on Monday morning at 9 am. When will I be able to pick up the passport and visa again?

your help is much appreciated.

Thanks
Collin

It is possible to apply for a China visa in Japan. If you an additional fee of JPY 4,000, you will be able to get the visa at 4 o'clock in the afternoon on the same day.
