Greetings....just found your site and it looks like you have a wealth of knowledge...

Help.... Am US Citizen on Holiday (in Vietnam) in HCMC (Saigon) and need asssitance in getting a Visa to China. Am leaving to Phu Quok tomorrow on Sunday and will be coming back through HCMC. If I show up at the Chinese Embassy when they open on a week day...what is the quickest I can get it ? What will I need to provide? Cost ? Is one day better than others to do this ?

And, does it matter if I fy into China versus going over the border via bus/train ?
