About:China Transit Visa

Hi, I am an American passport holder and my wife is holding a Taiwanese passport. We are going from USA to Singapore with a 6 hours transit in Shanghai, do we need a visa?

your wife got maybe problems in china- also in transit- china didnot see the taiwanese passport as a travel document- she has to take her taiwanese id card (so she can apply a visa on arrival )or a lueyou zheng or taibao zheng with her
