Good day! just wanna know the term of validity of temporary residence permit in China. I'm currently working here in Xiamen City and a holder of 1 year Z visa. I usually travel to other countries during holidays, however, the problem has occurred when I applied for the renewal of my temporary residence permit issued by local police. I was told that I need to reapply for this document everytime I leave China for abroad? Thank you very much.

Mr.Owen, can you tell me your expiry date of your Z visa or residence permit? As I know, Z visa is generally valid for 3 month and no duration of stay. Applicants should apply for a residence permit from a local county level Public Security Bureau within 30 days after entering China. The residence permit looks like a visa stamped on the passport, you can exit and enter China during its validity.
