About:Chinese Embassy in Egypt

Do I need a visa for Hong kong, as I'm going to attend a conference there for 4 days only. Also, my connection to hong kong will be Bancok (tiland) for 6 hours. Do I need tarnsit visa. Thanks for teh help.

You don't need a visa to Hong Kong or Thailand, as I know, UK nationals can visit Hong Kong for up to 180 days without visa. Uk citizens are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period of not exceeding 30 days.
