About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

My China passport's expiry date is Feb. 20, 2011, but I will have go to China on June 13 and Aug. 23, Here is my questions:

1. If I will renew my passport on Sept.5 when I come back from China, it will not affect my trip? I just worry it might refuse by immigration if the passport expiration date is less than 6months.

2. How long is processing time of passport renewal? And what requirement needed? My passport was issued here in Manila.

1. It will not affect your trip, the passport with at least 6 months validity and 1 blank visa page is required for China visa application, however, you hold China passport, you can return to China if your passport is still valid. The immigration will permit you enter China.

2. it takes 10 working days for getting a new passport, the requirements are:
Passport Application Form of PR China
3 passport photos
original ACR and ICR and their copies, the original ones will be returned to you once they are checked
your present China passport the copy of his data pages and remark pages
