About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Hi - me and a friend are flying from Bangkok to Macau, then boat to Hong Kong, then flight to Shanghai then flight to Beijing then back to Bangkok.

Will I need a multi-entry visa or as will a single-entry visa cover all of above?

Thanks for your time.

You don't need a multiple-entry China visa, you just need a singel-entry China visa, first UK passport holders don't need a visa to Macau/Hong Kong, you just need a visa to Mainland China, once you have it, you can visit Shanghai and Beijing.
