About:China Visa on Arrival

I have to travel to china this week, to solve a software problem to one of our customers in shanghai. Is that possible for me to apply for a china visa in shanghai or in hongkong, if so how long it takes to get a visa, since this is my first travel to china and also i am indian passport holder, currently residing in taiwan. Let me know the possible suggestions with required documents. Thanks

It is possible for you to apply for China visa in Hong Kong, you can't get a visa on arrival in Shanghai. It takes 4 working days to get a China visa. You can apply for a China tourist visa or a Business visa, it is up to the required documents you can provide
