Hi there, we are looking to travel to china our tour finishing in Hong Kong, we then want to take the train from hong kong to Hanoi, will we need to get a multi entry visa or is a single entry one okay as Hong kong is now part of china

You enter Mainland China for the second time, so you need a double-entry visa to Mainland China, Ireland nationals don't need a visa to Hong Kong for up to 90 days.
