About:Lantau Island

I am staying near Prince Edward Stn. I would like to visit Giant buddha.

Is it possible to take the MTR from Prince Edward -> Lan King Station and then change train to get to Tung Chung station? how long will it take?

Or will it be better to take to Hong Kong station and then change train to get to Lan King stn? Will it be faster?

Or is the ferry faster?

Thanks!

It takes around 31 minutes and costs HK$15.5. If you go to Hong Kong MTR Station first and then take Tung Chung Line, it will take longer time.

To use ferry, you need go to Central first, and take ferry to Mui Wo and then take No.2 bus to Ngong Ping Village. It takes more time too.

If you want to experience Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, better go to Tung Chung to take it to Ngong Ping Village and then walk to Giant Buddha.
