I'm living in HCMC and plan to go to China in two weeks... so i need a chinese visa!

I heard that Is it impossible for foreigners to apply for chinese visa from vietnam if we do not have a resident card, is that true ? i just have a vietnamese visa valid until the 7th of july...

If i can...

1. Do i need a flight return ticket and accomodation booking reservation to apply ?

2. What document i need?

3. How long days it takes to do it ? How cost ?
