About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

Hi, I am planning to go visit the Panda Centre in June. Is it right that the pandas will be most active in the morning? Also, I'd like to hold a panda. Do I have to book ahead to do this?

It is hard to say. Last time I went to Beijing Zoo to see the panada in the morning. Only one was eating bamboo. The others were all sleeping.

It is not necessary to book ahead. When you arrive there for a visit, just tell the staff that you want to hold the panada for taking pictures. They will arrange it for you. But you may queue for a while if there are too many people.
