The total cost depends on the seat class you chosen. In China, children between 1.1 meters and 1.5 meters tall can enjoy a half price ticket when buying hard seat or soft seat. Children taller than 1.5 meters will need a full price ticket. There is no charge for children under 1.1 meters tall. If you buy sleeper, there are no half price tickets for children. The cost of a child’ sleeper is about 20% to 25% off of an adult’s sleeper.

Ok. I'll buy sleeper. So 20% or 25% discount for children up to 12 years old or up to some other age? And what about the second question (the earliest time for booking on your site)

Thank you!

In China, the train ticket price for children has no relation with the children age but only the height. For details, you can inquire online directly. And the train tickets are usually hard to purchase, so it is better for you to arrange it as early as possible, such as about one month before your departure.
