About:Visa Policy of China

I want to know whether someone can stay on bussiness visa for more than 6 months in China. I am going to complete my 6 months soon here and still I have some pending work.
I heard that no country allowed the stay on bussiness visa for more than 6 months as its strictly applicable in USA. Is the same rule applied in China also ?

Business F Visa is issued to an applicant who is invited to China for visit, research, lecture, business, scientific-technological and culture exchanges or short-term advanced studies or intern practice for a period of no more than six months, therefore, 6 months are the maximum stay period in China.
