About:Chinese Embassy in Qatar

I am a US citizen currently in Qatar and planning a trip to China in August. I have attempted to contact the Chinese embassy in Doha in hope to make an appointment for a visa (T) but get no answer via phone.

Any suggestions? Can I just show up?

The appointment is not required, you can directly go to the China embassy in Doha to submit the visa application.
