About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

Hello,

We are two French people and we are in Hanoi.
We went to Chinese embassy and it's impossible to get a visa for non resident people.
In all agencies, they said that it is not possible to obtain a visa for French people. We can't know why.
It seems to be the same in HCMC.

Do you know what we can do or what happened ?

Thanks.

I think that the visa regulations become strict because of the Shanghai Expo, you have to have a residdent permit in Vietnam, then you can apply for China visa in Vietnam, the short term visitors to Vietnam can not apply for China visa in Vietnam. Now, you can go to Hong Kong to have a try. If your application is still refused, then you have to mail your passport to French and ask your friends to applyfor China visa for you, then mail back to you.
