Yep, there is a city like that here. I am here working right now it is the city of Uxin, a county of Ordos in inner Mongolia.
60 km N.E. of Yulin, China

They found all that gas and coal and investors started building Los Vegas style hotels here. There are at least 50-60 large hotels that are in final stages or skeleton completion. just left.

I am staying at one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in , and I've been to a lot $42 per night Canadian, LOL
