About:Beijing Great Wall

We are visiting Beijing in June and in our late 50's and wonder whether it is sensible to go on the walk from Jinshanling to Simatai or is it too steep or should we go to Mutianyu which is shorter and maybe not so steep. We are of average fitness.

Hello,Mr.Rob
That will be a challenge for you to walk from Jinshanling to Simatai. The climbing is exhausting even for young adult. So you shall visit Mutianyu and use cable car when it is necessary.
Nice trip!
