About:Chinese Consulates in South Korea

hey there,

I am a German citizen trying to get a Chinese Visa in Seoul.
Can anyone tell me whether I really have to do so via a travel agency or whether I can just go to the Chinese Embassy myself and apply for a visa??

Also, does anyone know any travel agency which speaks English? All of the agencies I have tried so far, did not speak any English.

Thx in advance
Meike

Yes, you have to apply for Chinese visa through one of the travel agencies designated by the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in Seoul except that you are diplomatic/service/official passport holders.

as I know, the authorized travel agencies can apply English service

Ok thanks for the info.

Don you (or anyone else) know whether I can get another L visa (I am currently holding a L visa which i extended twice within China)even though I dont live in Korea? Could I also apply for a F visa if I have the required docs?
And can I get more than 30 days?

thx again :)
