Do you need to arrive in the Vancouver visa office by a certain time to obtain a single entry visa in 1 day?

yes, you have to submit the visa application before 10:00 in the morning if you want to get a China visa within 1 days, if you submit application late, the visa officer doesn't have time to process your visa within 1 days, the office hours of the visa office are 09:00-13:00.
