About:Tianjin Transportation

Hi there,

We are a family of 5 adults and one child (age 1 year) flying to Tianjin Airport (Airasia) in September. As there are a few of us with a young child, what is the most comfortable way to travel to Beijing from Tianjin Airport. Is there a private transfer service we could use and how do we book?

Many thanks

Jenny

Hi Jenny,

You can take the airport shuttle bus to Tianjin Railway Station and then take the HeXieHao train, the train number starts with the letter "C".

Hi there,
Once you have arrived at the Tianjin Railway station there is no more convenient way to get to Beijing South Station than to take the bullet train. They leave every 15 minutes or so, and make the journey in exactly 30 minutes. The cost is 58 RMB one way economy or 69 RMB first class. they sell out most departures, but usually a short wait for the next train isnt too inconvenient. There are automatic ticket machines there if you dont want to queue up ith everyone else. They are very easy to operate and you can have the instructions in english at the press of a button. Once at beijing South you are at a major subway station too which will connect you to any other subway line you need. Compared to Australia it is incredibly clean, efficient and inexpensive. Enjoy!
