About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi I am a Singaporean while my wife is a Singapore PR holding a PRC Passport. We are planning to go Hong Kong and Macau in Aug 2010 (via Hong Kong airport & ferry to Macau) and return to Singapore from Hong Kong. Do I need to apply for a Permit for my wife to visit both Hong Kong and Macau? Thank

You need to apply for Hong Kong entry permit for your wife because Chinese passport holders residing overseas need to apply for Hong Kong entry permit if they go to Hong Kong for visit, family visit or short-term business.

You don't need to apply for Macau entry permit for your wife because China passport holders who have the residence permit of the third country can visit Macau for up to 7 days without entry permit.
