Hi all, will be visiting Kunming and will visit the Stoen Forest. My next stop will be Dali. Is it easier to go from Stone Forest to Dali or shld I go back to Kunming first? If former what is the best and safest mode?Lee

Mr.Lee,You need get back to Kunming and then got Daili from Kunming. You have two choices: by bus or by train. Generally speaking, it is faster to take bus. Bus: around 5 hours. Train: 8 to 9 hours. Considering of safty, you may get there by train. Take a train that departs at night and you will get there in the morning. You will save money for staying at a hotel in Dali.
