About:Stone Forest

Hi all, will be visiting Kunming and will visit the Stoen Forest. My next stop will be Dali. Is it easier to go from Stone Forest to Dali or shld I go back to Kunming first? If former what is the best and safest mode?

Mr.Lee,
You need get back to Kunming and then got Daili from Kunming. You have two choices: by bus or by train. Generally speaking, it is faster to take bus. Bus: around 5 hours. Train: 8 to 9 hours. Considering of safty, you may get there by train. Take a train that departs at night and you will get there in the morning. You will save money for staying at a hotel in Dali.
