what is the most convenient way going to peak tram lower terminus?

What is the most convenient way going to Peak tram lower terminus? I don't think walking from Central station to the lower terminus is child-friendly. I will be bringing my 2 kids w/ me. Is there a taxi or a bus going there from the MTR station? How much does it cost? Please help me.We will be there on the 11th of May. Thank you so much.

If you think it is not convenient to walk from J2 of Central MTR station, then take a taxi. It won't cost you much.
