About:China Customs Declaration

Hello. I am visiting a chinese friend in may and want to take her some 'perfume'. I cannot see a limit in the regulations except a paragraph saying 'a reasonable amount for personal use'. Could you tell me how much I can take before I have to declare?
Thanks.

If you take plane, better consult with your airpine company. They should be clear on this.
