I am travelling to Beijing in May and would like to take my host some NZ red wine. I understand i can take my duty free wine from NZ to Beijing but can i take the wine on a China domestic flight as carry on baggage when I fly from Beijing to Shanghai 3 days after arriving in China?

Mr.Denis,

According to what I’ve found, passengers can not bring liquor in bottle or can in their carry-on luggage. If you plan to take some liquor, you have to put it in your checked luggage. Make sure that you wrap it properly. The limit is 2 bottles under 1 kilogram.
