traveling from beijing-xian-sichuan area-yunnan-hunan-down to hk.

Question

Traveling from Beijing->Xian->Sichuan Area->Yunnan->Hunan->Down to HK. (Long C-shape travel)Season of my travel will be between June-August.Am I going to meet any Monsoon rains during my travel?Are there areas not suggested for traveling during this hot-season?Thanks in advance, Bene.

Beijing and Xian is quite dry during this period. A lot of rain this year in South China, including Sichuan and HUnan. Yunnan is fine, just recover from severe drought a few months ago. I think  Beijing has many historical great buildings to see, but really a painful experience to see Great Wall, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven in especially Auguest.
