About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Hi,

I currently have a residence permit that expires at the end of July. Is it possible for me to get an extension or tourist visa in Shanghai without leaving? I know I can get a 30 day extension, but is a 60-90 day possible? Also, does anyone know what type of visas are currently being given out in Hong Kong? I would like to get a multiple entry visa if possible.

If you don't exit mainland China, you will only be able to apply for an extension of stay for about 30 days if you could provide necessary documents. If you wat to apply for a multiple entry visa, you will have to go to the visa office ofPRC in Hk SAR.
