Hello, Visiting Beijing form May 6th through the 8th.  Want to see Mutianyu Great Wall.  Will be staying near Tiananmen Square.  What buses are available to take me to see the Mutianyu Great Wall?  Thank you very much.

Hello,Mr.JesseTake subway first from Tiananmen West or Tiananmen East to Dongzhimen. At then get bus route 936 (tourism special line) to go to Mutianyu. Note that there are many kinds of 936 buses, be sure that the very last stop of the one you will take is Mutianyu Great Wall, otherwise don't take it. Nice trip!

Thank you very much Tiffany!  That's lots of help.  I don't know Chinese, how will I know that the last stop is MutianYu Great Wall?  Are there any distinguishing marks for the special tourism line for 936?  Also, will this bus be available on May 6th early in the morning.  Thank you!

If you know nothing about Chinese, it will be a little hard for you to identify the bus. Try to communicate with the taxi driver or find a Chinese who can speak English to help you. The first bus of 936 to Mutianyu Great Wall leaves at 07:00 every morning, including May 6th.
