Hi could someone help me im a uk citizen my wife is chinese i currently work in dubai but would like to live in china with my wife I dont need to work in china i just need a residance visa is this possible?Best Regards william

it is very hard to get a residence visa, you should first have the Residence Approval Certificate issued by the Chinese public security bureau. (The applicant may entrust his or her relatives within China to apply for this certificate with the said authority.), then you can apply for resident visa.
