Hi, sorry for the second post, i posted in the wrong section the first time... sorry again!
I am planning to work in china, i am actually currantly in china at the monent, and a company has already hired me, so i am in the process of getting a work visa. My question is, i have a past record, not criminal but a absolute pardon, which as 2 years ago when i was still in university. The charges were very light (possession under,) not related to drugs, guns or assult. Will this effect me on getting the work visa from chinese goverenment? i know my job will not refuse me if they see this, but will the chinese goverenment refuce me when they see it? Did they check my record before even giving me a visa to enter in china for tour? It has been 2 years and since the record was very light i didnt really care about till now.. please help i need to know so i can hire or not hire a lawyer for this, i think i can have to taken off my record in canada after a year....
Thanks
