About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

hi, I am planning to go to Beijing for chinese language study for 2months. The school said that I just need to acquire tourist visa and then we'll change it when I get to china. Now, I have to purchase my roundtrip tickets as a requirement for getting L-visa. HOw many months is L-visa valid anyway? If my ticket departs on May and return is on August, will that be okay? Would I pass to get the L-visa? I am really confused. Thank you for you help.

Ms.michelle, generally speaking, the L visa is valid for 3 months and permits 30 days stay in China. You have a try to ask for 3 months stay duration on the visa application form, the flight ticket departs on May and return on August is Ok, if the visa officer only issues you single-entry L visa valid for 3 months permitting 30 days stay, the school can help you to get another 30 days stay after your arrival.
