About:China Visa Exemption

i am an indian passport holder and intend to travel one way from hongkong to Tijuana(mexico) and i have two tickets. One is from Hongkong to shanghai(pvg) operated by dragon air and the other is from shanghai(pvg)to Tijuana by aeromexico. I woould be having a 12 hour layover. Would i need a transit visa?Remember that i will be having a checked baggage and would neet to retrive it and re-check in again.Please advise. I do have a valid mexico visa and confirmed tickets

You don't need a Transit Visa for the 12 hours stopover in Shanghai. I know that you have to check your baggage and retrive it and check it again for the connection flights, it doesn't matter.
