Mrs.Gan, you can apply for multiple-entry visa valid for 6 months, the required passport has to have at least 9 months validity beyond expiration when you submit visa application, now, your passport has about 11 months remaining validity. After your obtain the China visa, the immigration officer on China borders will permit you to enter China if your passport is still valid. It is not required for you to take a passport with at least 6 months validity to enter China.
